From June to October, we sail from Camden Harbor along Maine’s pristine coast with just 6 guests. Spend your days relaxing on deck, taking the helm, or simply enjoying the company of your shipmates. Enjoy a lobster bake on the beach and daily excursions to charming fishing villages and remote islands. Unplug from daily life, tune into the sounds of the bay, and enjoy the escape of sailing a historic Maine schooner.
Launched in the 1960’s, the Schooner Firefly has been sailing with guests around Penobscot bay for over six decades. Her cozy, traditional charm is complemented by modern navigational equipment and amenities. She has three cabins, each equipped with private heads. In the galley, our chef prepares gourmet meals for you to enjoy.
Getting Here
The Firefly’s home in Camden is a small seaside town in the Midcoast area, two hours north of Portland and two hours south of Bar Harbor.
The address for the town dock is 1 Public Landing, Camden, ME.
Accommodations
The Firefly carries just six passengers in three cabins – each with a private head, sink, and companionway from the deck.
Food and Drink
For the duration of the trip, you will be treated to three meals a day, using locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared by our chef in the ship’s galley.
